Beta Launch - Custom Unified Fields

Custom Unified Fields enable Project Admins to add project-specific fields to existing StackOne Unified APIs and integrations. Unlike the pre-defined default unified fields that are documented and returned by default across projects, these custom fields are unique to the projects they are created in and allow you to tailor the unified API to meet your specific needs.

How It Works

1. Navigate to the new Field Mapping section in your StackOne Dashboard.
2. Define your custom field with a name, type, and the mapping to the underlying provider field.
3. The custom field is now available in your Unified API responses for that project.

Target Audience

Custom Unified Fields is currently designed for technical users as it requires some knowledge and familiarity with JSON. As we strengthen its capabilities and feature-set, it will become more approachable to non-technical users.
